Day 1: Makanyane Safari Lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa

You arrive at Makanyane Safari Lodge in time for a delightful lunch on the main deck of the lodge, overlooking a bustling waterhole. You receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a fresh fruit bowl in your suite upon arrival at the lodge.

After lunch, you have time to unpack, relax at the sparkling swimming pool and enjoy afternoon tea and coffee, before departing on your afternoon game drive through the Madikwe Game Reserve. While the rest of the wedding party is taken on game drives together, the wedding couple enjoys a private game drive, allowing them to exclusively explore the wonders of the bush.

At sunset, stop for sundowners in the tranquility of the bush before the vehicles make their way back to the lodge after dark. A mouth watering gourmet dinner is served in the riverside boma, surrounded by the flicker of well-lit lanterns and next to a roaring fire under the vast, starlit African sky.

Day 2: Makanyane Safari Lodge

At sunrise on day 2 of your Madikwe wedding package, the wedding party departs on an early morning game drive, followed by a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, the bride and groom enjoys a luxurious beauty treatment each, such as a relaxing massage, a manicure or a facial.

You enjoy a spectacular lunch, and then the wedding party prepares for the wedding. The ceremony can take place anywhere the couple likes, as Makanyane offers various beautiful and intimate settings, ideal for an unforgettable wedding in Madikwe Game Reserve. Makanyane Lodge wedding venue options include the lodge's main deck with magnificent views of the waterhole, or at the lookout point against a backdrop of the vast African plains.

After your loved has been sealed, the group will be driven out to a specially selected site in the bush, to toast the loving couple as the sun sets dramatically over the African plains. Back at the lodge, dinner is served on the main deck, with beautifully decked out tables for a sumptuous celebratory four course meal.
