Enjoy exciting game drives in search of the Big Five, or, for the more adventurous, walking safaris allow you to experience close encounters with Africa's most treasured species. In the heat of the day guests can lounge around at the lodge rock pool, read a book in the well stocked library, or relax in the thatched "sala" and enjoy the serene views of the active waterhole.
The air-conditioned underground hide offers brilliant views of the elephants having a drink at the waterhole and rolling around in the mud. Have a drink from the bar or a cup of coffee while you take photos of these magnificent creatures, leaving them undisturbed.
Children on Safari
Children are welcome at Impodimo Game Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve and can take part in an exciting children on safari programme. Children over the age of 6 years are welcome on the game drives, however younger children can go on a ‘kiddies bumble’ which is shorter and aimed at keeping the little one’s attention.
