Impodimo Game Lodge is situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa. This 75 000 hectare reserve is situated in the North West province of South Africa and borders Botswana.
The reserve is home to an impressive diversity of vegetation and ecozones, allowing for a rich variation of game and bird species inhabiting this pristine reserve.
Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa, is home to 28 different mammal species, including Elephant, Black and White Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Wild Dog and many plains game. For the bird enthusiasts, the reserve boasts 350 bird species.

By Road
Drive from Johannesburg to Magaliesburg along the N14 and the R24. From the Magaliesburg, take the R509 through Derby to Koster (69 km). Turn right in Koster to Swartruggens (34 km).
Continue straight through Swartruggens towards Groot Marico and Zeerust. You do not actually pass through the town of Groot Marico. After entering Zeerust, Keep straight on until you see for Gaberone/Madikwe Game Reserve, where you turn right.
Continue on this road through 2 rural villages and past the Madikwe Road Takeaways (a store and filling station) and past Nietverdiend (a store, filling station and police station).
Continue on this road past the Abjagterskop Gate for Madikwe Game Reserve on your right for 7 km. After 7 km you will find another gate (Wonderboom gate) on the right into the park. A lodge representative will meet you there.
By Air
Air transfers are available on a daily basis from O.R Tambo International Airport (formally Johannesburg International Airport) to and from Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa. Luggage is limited to 20 kg per person in soft bags. Flight options are available via Sun City Resort.
