Motswiri Safari Lodge is ideally situated in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa. This Madikwe lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by Elephant and other big game. Guests can access Motswiri Safari Lodge either by air or road.
The drive from Johannesburg will take about 4 hours. Guests travelling by air will land at the Madikwe Western Airstrip and take a 30 minute transfer to Motswiri Lodge.
Directions from Johannesburg
From Johannesburg, travel north on the N1 towards the N4 Toll road.
Take the N2 Toll road north west towards Rustenburg, Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust.
Once you get to Zeerust, turn right at the second stop street into President Street.
You will see a signpost on the left that reads 'Madikwe Game Reserve / Gabarone'.
Follow the R49 towards Madikwe Game Reserve.
Carry past the Abjaterskop Gate and turn in at the Wonderboom Gate situated about 7km (4.34 miles) further.
