Jaci's Safari Lodge
Jaci's Safari Lodge can be found on the edge of a small stream in the heart of Madikwe Game Reserve. The Safari lodge features eight luxurious rooms with large mosaic bath, outdoor shower and private deck where guests can enjoy the views of warthogs rolling in the mud or tree squirrels darting through foliage.
The main lounge, with its views out across the stream, is where breakfast, lunch and high tea are served. For those in need of a little refreshment after a long day of game viewing, the loft bar offers guests another space in which to unwind.
Each room is equipped with underfloor heating and a ceramic fireplace to make sure guests are cosy during the winter months and for the heated summer months there is air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep guests cool. All the rooms are doubles and stretcher beds can be set up for children.
Children of all ages are welcome and the 'littles' have their own daytime 'Jungle Drive'. Babysitting is provided while parents are on game drives or enjoying their evening meal.
Safari Suite
The Safari Suite at Jaci's Safari Lodge is the ideal accommodation for families looking for a more intimate bush experience. This suite accommodates a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children and boasts all the same features as Jaci's Safari Lodge. The suite also has its own private splash pool and stunning views of the river. The Safari Cottage is ideal for families with older children.
Nare Suite
The exceptional thatch and canvas 'Nare Suite' at Jaci's Safari Lodge is an exclusive bush breakaway, accommodating up to 6 guests. These suites come equipped with open-plan bathrooms kitted with a handmade rock bath and outdoor safari shower. The upstairs loft is ideal for children and has its own toilet. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the wooden viewing deck that overlooks the watering hole.
Each suite boasts a private swimming pool, as well as a private game vehicle and professional guide to ensure that you have a bush breakaway that you will remember for years to come. In addition, the lounge and outdoor dining area are equipped with a self-contained kitchen, where our chefs can prepare meals for you in privacy, should you so desire.
Jaci's Tree Lodge
Jaci's Tree Lodge has 8 raised 'Tree Houses' connected by elevated wooden walkways and enjoys views out across the Marico River. Each Tree Lodge features open-plan living in outstanding luxury and comfort. Each house encompasses a giant Tambotie or Leadwood Tree and is constructed on stilts, up to 4 metres above the ground.
The Tree Houses have en-suite bathrooms with an enormous stone bath and a refreshing outdoor 'Jungle Shower', air conditioning, underfloor heating and a large balcony, ideal for spotting resident mongoose families playing on the riverbanks.
